I love to write. I have a creative side that rarely gets out and starting a blog was my way of expressing it. Writing clears my head and gives me an outlet to give my opinion on topics that interest me. I enjoy web design and have put together more websites than I can count over the years. Eventually, I may start a business that can capture my creative talents. Until then I am in sales in the software industry. Not a bad gig, sales is fun and it allows me to build on my entrepreneurial spirit.
I started seriously writing when I was in the Army and stationed in places like the Balkans and Iraq. Writing about my experiences was a great source of therapy to get the stories and events of my time out of me and share with my family and friends. But with the internet these things are available to the world and I was eventually noticed by news agencies that were looking for information from troops on the ground. There was talk of a book when I returned, but I had to get back to earning a paycheck and that has been put on hold.
